Description: Wildcrafted unrefined ungurahua oil (also referred to as rahua or pataua oil) is an increasingly popular and incredibly powerful oil for haircare. It is a medium green in color. It is very rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, with oleic acid accounting for 77.6% of its fatty acid content (a much higher concentration than is found in olive oil). Studies suggest that ungurahua oil is very effective at alleviating scalp conditions (such as itching and dandruff), revitalizing damaged hair, increasing hair strength, reducing hair loss, imparting moisture, controlling very frizzy hair, adding shine, and improving hair malleability for detangling purposes.
